The 1987 Naumburg International Piano Competition winner enjoys a remarkable and multifaceted career being raved as “an uncommonly elegant pianist”. His career has taken him throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and South Africa. Highlights of Mr. Nel’s nearly three decades of concertizing include performances with the Cleveland Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony, the orchestras of San Francisco, Seattle, Detroit, and London to name a few.
