Central Michigan University is pleased to announce the 2nd annual William H. Rivard Golf Scholarship Tournament. The event will be held at The Pines at Lake Isabella Golf Course on August 2, 2009 with a 10 AM shotgun start. Format will be a four-person scramble (individuals may register and be paired up into teams at the event if necessary). On-line registration is now available. Cost of $65 per player includes golf, continental breakfast, and post-golf dinner. There will be a silent auction and fun games on the course!
Dr. Rivard taught at CMU for over three decades, and built a legacy of scholarship, musicianship and service. Proceeds from this event go directly into the William H. Rivard Trombone Scholarship Endowment, which since 1998 has assisted 12 students with part of their college expenses. Last year's event raised over $4000 for the endowment!!
Interested in helping by sponsoring a hole? For a $100 contribution to the endowment your name or business name will appear on a classic Rivard Tournament Tee Sign on one of the holes, and be credited in all program materials. If interested please e-mail Bob Lindahl - Robert.lindahl@cmich.edu
