Summer Music Camp

Please join us for our Annual Summer Music Camp, open to all high school woodwind, brass, percussion and vocal students. Students interact with CMU faculty members, perform in chamber ensembles, and participate in full orchestra or concert band in our state-of-the-art concert halls. While at Music Camp, students stay in the CMU residence halls, eat in the residential restaurant and experience college life first hand. The camp is sponsored by the School of Music and Prof Ed.

• Sing in choir
• Take private lessons with CMU faculty members (additional charge applies)
• Study music technology

• Visit the Student Activity Center

Private Instruction Cost

Private instruction is an additional $20 per session. The instruction is offered once per week per student and will be based on availability. Billing information will be sent with your confirmation packet.

Costs:

• $425 boarding students
• $275 commuting students

Drum Major/Colorguard Clinic

July 13 - 19, 2008
Open to drum majors with advanced skills, and new drum majors with no experience. CMU's Colorguard Clinic is open to instructors, guard captains, or guard members who want to improve their skills and teaching techniques.

Cost:

Register for the Drum Major and Color Guard Clinics early! The cost for early registration (by June 20, 2008) is $391. Registrations postmarked after June 20 will cost $421. American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa are accepted. Please include your credit card number, expiration date, and signature to authorize the charge to your account on the form provided.
